The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the state’s Commissioner for Agriculture, Professor David Jatau, describing him as an outstanding public servant, renowned academic and a dedicated contributor to the development of the state.
In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Dr. Dogo Victor, and made available to journalists in Yola, the APC described the late commissioner as an exceptional public servant, distinguished academic and a man of remarkable integrity whose contributions to the agricultural sector and public service left an enduring legacy.
Madagali said Professor Jatau’s commitment to excellence, professionalism and selfless service earned him widespread admiration and respect across Adamawa State and beyond.
“On behalf of the leadership and entire members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adamawa State Chapter, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the Ministry of Agriculture, the academic community, the Adamawa State Government and all those affected by this painful loss,” the statement read.
The APC chairman prayed for God to grant the bereaved family, colleagues and the people of Adamawa State the strength to bear the loss, while asking God to grant the late professor eternal rest.
“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen,” the statement added.
