The Chairman of Bichi Local Government Area, Hon. Hamza Sule Mai Fata, has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Governor of Kano State, the people of Bichi Local Government, and the Muslim Ummah across the world on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Adha celebration.
In a goodwill message issued to commemorate the festival, Hon. Hamza Sule Mai Fata described Eid-el-Adha as a season of sacrifice, obedience, unity, and compassion.
He urged Muslims to uphold the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by promoting peace, tolerance, and love among one another.
The Bichi chairman commended Governor Yusuf for his commitment to infrastructural development, educational reforms, healthcare delivery, and people-oriented governance across Kano State, noting that the administration has continued to positively impact the lives of citizens.
Hon. Mai Fata also praised the governor’s dedication to grassroots development and his unwavering efforts to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach all parts of the state, including rural communities.
He called on the people of Bichi and Kano State at large to continue supporting the present administration in its drive to deliver meaningful development and sustainable progress for the benefit of all.
According to him, “Eid-el-Adha reminds us of the values of sacrifice, patience, obedience, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
It is also a period for prayers, reflection, and extending kindness to humanity.”
The chairman further urged residents to celebrate the festive period peacefully and responsibly, while praying for lasting peace, unity, stability, and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
Hon. Hamza Sule Mai Fata reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of the people of Bichi Local Government Area through inclusive governance and developmental initiatives aimed at uplifting communities.
He wished Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the people of Kano State, and the entire Muslim Ummah a peaceful and blessed Eid-el-Adha celebration.
