Hon. Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya, an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Hon. Murtala Sule Garo, on his re-nomination as the running mate to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the 2027 Kano State governorship election.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Gaya described the re-nomination as well deserved, saying it reflects Governor Yusuf’s confidence in Garo’s loyalty, dedication and immense contributions to the development of Kano State since the inception of the administration.
He said the Deputy Governor’s commitment, exemplary leadership and unwavering support for the policies and programmes of the government have earned him the confidence to continue serving alongside Governor Yusuf.
Gaya expressed confidence that the Abba Kabir Yusuf–Murtala Sule Garo (AKY/MSG) ticket would build on the achievements of the current administration and secure the mandate of the people of Kano State in the 2027 governorship election.
He also prayed for Allah to grant Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Deputy Governor Murtala Sule Garo wisdom, good health, strength and divine guidance as they continue to work for the peace, progress and prosperity of Kano State.
