The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved a fresh round of appointments aimed at strengthening key institutions and improving service delivery across the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Friday.

The new appointees and their respective positions are as follows:

• Dr. Bashir A. Muzakkar – Director General, Kano State Information & Communication Technologies Development Agency (KASITDA). Before this appointment, Dr. Bashir Abdu Muzakkari was the Special Adviser to the Governor on Digital and Creative Economy.

• Kabiru Saidu Dakata – Director General, Kano State Advert & Signage Agency (KASA)

• Dr. Fatima Abdul Abubakar (Amneef) – Director General, Kano State Social Protection Agency (KASPA). Before her appointment, Fatima was the Special Adviser to the Governor on Enlightment and Social Mobilization.

• Engr. Isyaku Umar Kwa – Deputy Managing Director, Kano State Housing Corporation

• Hamisu Musa Gambo Danzaki – Executive Secretary, Kano State Scholarship Board

• Barr. Isma’il Nasarawa – Provost, Anti-Corruption Institute

• Captain Mohd Bello Maigaskiya Gabasawa (Rtd.) – Commandant, Corporate Security Institute

The governor expressed confidence that the newly appointed officials will bring their wealth of experience and commitment to bear in driving the vision and policies of the state to greater heights.
