The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has expressed its condolences to the Yobe State Government, Governor Mai Mala Buni, the State Council of Chiefs, Ngazargamu Emirate Council, and the royal family over the passing of the late Emir of Ngazargamu, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Ibn Saleh Geidam.
In a statement issued by the National President of the association, Khalid Muhammad Bello, KACRAN described the death of the traditional ruler as a great loss to the emirate and prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family and the people of Ngazargamu the strength to bear the loss.
The association also commended Governor Mai Mala Buni for the peaceful, transparent, and inclusive process that led to the selection of the new Emir of Ngazargamu, describing it as a reflection of the governor’s respect for tradition, culture, and the wishes of the people.
KACRAN said the appointment comes at a time when Nigeria requires strong traditional institutions and responsible leadership, noting that the decision demonstrates Governor Buni’s commitment to peace, stability, and good governance in Yobe State.
The association congratulated the newly appointed Emir of Ngazargamu, His Royal Highness Alhaji Yerima Ibn Mahmud, on his ascension to the historic throne of his ancestors.
KACRAN described the new Emir as an accomplished historian, politician, and public servant who has contributed immensely to the development of Yobe State through his previous roles as Executive Chairman of Yunusari Local Government, Member of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, and Commissioner for the Ministry of Livestock Development.
The association prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom, good health, and a peaceful reign for the new Emir, expressing confidence that his leadership would promote unity, development, and progress within Ngazargamu Emirate and beyond.
KACRAN further pledged its loyalty and support to the new monarch, assuring him of its cooperation in promoting peace, security, and socio-economic development across the emirate.
The association expressed optimism that, with the support of Governor Buni and the leadership of the new Emir, Ngazargamu Emirate would continue to witness greater harmony, prosperity, and advancement.
