The chairman of Sabon Garin Safana Foundation of Dutsinma B Ward, Alhaji Hamza Abdullahi has said that his aspiration to vie for Dutsinma Constituency seat at the Katsina State House of Assembly come 2027 general elections is not do or die affair.
Alhaji Abdullahi stated this during a visit to Dutsimma Local Government office of All Progressives Congress (APC) to inform the officials of his interest to contest the seat as contained in a statement from Sarkin Labarai Namaradin Katsina, Alhaji Abdu Bawa Dutsinma, which he made available to The Triumph in Kano recently.
The chairman of the foundation and his entourage were received by the APC chairman and other party officials in the area.
The visit was part of consultation to various stakeholders on the intention of Alhaji Abdullahi to solicit for support and counseling.
Addressing the officials, Alhaji Abdullahi, expressed appreciation to Governor Dikko Umar Raddah for his carrying along all the party’s faithful to ensure level playing ground.
According to him, such actions would ensure justice and represent people’s wishes in the selection of APC flagbearers at all levels.
Alhaji Abdullahi, pleadged to be loyal member of the party and support any candidate who clinches the APC’s ticket.
In his remark, the Dutsinma APC chairman, Alhaji Dahiru Faguwa, stressed the need for all contestants to support whoever clinches the party’s ticket to ensure its victory during the elections.
The chairman, who wished Alhaji Abdullahi success in his asparation, prayed for him Allah’s guidance to emerge the sole candidate of the party.
Earlier, a philanthropist in Dutsinma, Alhaji Nasiru Abubakar Baba Nashe, expressed satisfaction over the acceptance of the aspirant, Alhaji Abdullahi and assured to accord him all the needed support in view of his intentions to bring the desired development to the area.
Baba Nashe explained that, it is Allah who bestows power to whomever He wishes hence Alhaji Abdullahi would abide by the final outcome of the party’s primaries.
Also speaking, the Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Usman Mohammed Kigan, who is also the APC secretary in Dutsinma Local Government Area, pleadged to support the aspiration of Alhaji Hamza Abdullahi Sabon Garin Safana to enable him to continue initiating various people-oriented programmes.
Similarly, another Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker, Alhaji Abdu Bawa Dutsinma acknowledged the numerous humanitarian services and empowerment programmes being initiated by Sabon Garin Safana Foundation chairman to better the lots of youth and women in Dutsinma.
Other speakers included Alhaji Mas’ud Magaji Safana and Alhaji Abdulrazak Tukur Muhammad Abba, who all underscored the leadership qualities of the aspirant, Alhaji Abdullahi and expressed optimism that if he clinches the APC’s ticket, more development would be recorded in the local government among others.
