The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Daura/Sandamu/Maiadua Federal Constituency in Katsina State, Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, has expressed confidence of victory in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a brief interview with journalists in Daura, Yusuf said he was optimistic that the party would maintain its dominance in the area, describing Daura as a stronghold of the APC.
“This is the home of the APC, and everything will move in order,” he said, expressing confidence that the party’s influence in the constituency would be sustained.
Yusuf also commended party members for their support and cooperation during the primary election that led to his emergence as the party’s candidate.
“I want to sincerely thank the APC members and supporters for their backing,” he said.
He further appreciated the large turnout of party members during the indirect primary election in the Daura Senatorial zone, noting that the level of participation demonstrated strong commitment and encouragement for him and the party.
“I am really encouraged by the crowd of support I have seen,” he added.
