Former Katsina State Governor, Barrister Ibrahim Shehu Shema, has donated a campaign office for the Tikko/Tinubu Again 2027 movement, calling on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the inauguration of the campaign office in Katsina, Shema urged party members to embark on house-to-house campaigns and engage voters in communities across the state to strengthen support for the APC.
He also advised the party’s existing political structures to remain active and maintain close contact with the electorate rather than waiting for the official campaign period.
Shema appealed to Nigerians to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu another term in office, saying continuity is necessary to consolidate ongoing reforms and accelerate national development.
“No government can fulfil all its campaign promises within a single tenure. The true measure of leadership is making decisions that serve the country’s long-term interests,” he said.
According to him, the economic and security reforms being implemented by the Tinubu administration are aimed at addressing long-standing national challenges.
The former governor also praised Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, describing him as an outstanding performer whose re-election would further promote development, unity and progress in the state.
Earlier, Governor Radda said the campaign office, with structures across the state’s 34 local government areas, wards and polling units, would strengthen mobilisation efforts among women, youths and other supporters.
He expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in the 2027 elections, citing the party’s strong grassroots network and widespread public support in Katsina State.
“I have no doubt, no fear and no hesitation about our chances in the next election,” Radda declared.
The governor commended Shema for donating the campaign office, describing the gesture as a significant contribution that would further consolidate the APC’s political strength in the state.
Also speaking, Chairman of ABDIN Group of Companies, Dahiru Barau Mangal, called for unity among party members and commended the APC leadership in Katsina for conducting a successful party primary election.
Other speakers at the event included the APC State Chairman, Bishir Saulawa, the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Katsina State chapter, Rabo Tambaya, among others.
The event attracted hundreds of APC supporters from all 34 local government areas of Katsina State.
