The Yobe First Movement in collaboration with the Haskay Forum and other stakeholders has purchased the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for Kashim Musa Tumsah, signaling a major boost for his 2027 governorship ambition in Yobe State.
The development is being seen as a significant step in the growing political momentum behind Tumsah whose supporters have continued to project him as a leader with the capacity, vision and commitment to drive meaningful progress across the state.
According to the group, the purchase of the forms goes beyond symbolism, representing a clear demonstration of confidence in Tumsah leadership credentials and a strong commitment to translating public support into political action.
The movement noted that it has consistently championed calls for Tumsah to contest the governorship seat, citing his track record,clear agenda, and dedication to the welfare and advancement of the people of Yobe State.
It commended members of both organizations, supporters, and well-wishers whose financial contributions, loyalty and collective effort made the milestone possible.
The group also urged its supporters to remain united, focused and steadfast as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 contest, stressing that the task ahead would require sacrifice, discipline and unwavering dedication.
It further called on citizens across the state, including youth groups, women organizations, community leaders and political stakeholders to sustain the momentum and rally behind what it described as a noble cause aimed at building a more prosperous and inclusive Yobe State.
Supporters expressed confidence that under the leadership of Kashim Musa Tumsah the state would witness a new era of governance anchored on vision, action, accountability and results.
