Adamawa State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Yayaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa, has been conferred with the Icon of Diplomatic Leadership and Management Award.
Mijinyawa was conferred by the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management 74th Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) Programme, featuring an Investiture of Fellowship and Induction of New Members, recently at Lamido Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa Hall, College of Nursing and Midwifery, Yola, Adamawa State.
The Institute’s lecture, themed “Corporate Treasury Management Best Practice,” will be articulated by Prof. Bashir Daneji of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, and analyzed by Prof. Ibrahim Danjuma, also of MAU; both are Fellow Members of the institute.
The occasion had the Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta, a Fellow Member of the Institute, who serves as Special Guest of Honour, and the Wife of the Governor of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, also a Fellow Member, served as Mother of the Day.
While the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, and the Provost of College of Nursing and Midwifery (CNM), Yola, Dr. Lami Aminu, among others, are invested as Fellow Members of the Institute.
Speaking, the Registrar and Secretary to Council of the Institute, Dr Sukana Danjuma Tusha, “Due to the sanitation exercise held every last Saturday of the month across the state, restricting all vehicular movements until 10 am, the 74th MCPD Programme is shifted to start at 10:30 am from the 9 am earlier slated.”
