Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has urged the newly sworn Chairmen and Members of Boards of Commissions to thoroughly digest the 8-point agenda and be guided by it to fully understand the administration’s vision and goals.

Fintiri stated this in a swearing-in ceremony of some arms of his government at the Banquet Hall in Government House Yola, the state capital.

“Your selection was carefully made based on your integrity, capacity, loyalty and pedigree,” he said.

The swearing-in ceremony was administered by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of the state Barr. Banu Afraimu Jingi saying, the news of your appointments has been received with joy and hope, as the people are confident in your ability to drive progress and development.

He said the people are receptive and eager to support your efforts, and “We must not disappoint them. I congratulate you on your well-deserved appointments,” he added.

“Our new roles come with great responsibility and trust. As leaders, you must carry everyone along, inclusively is key. Our administration’s success depends on your collective efforts. The work ahead is enormous, and the task is clear. We are the eyes of the people, and they look up to us for solutions,” Fintiri said.

Our administration is committed to addressing the economic challenges facing our people. I charge you to come up with innovative contributions to help alleviate these challenges. As you begin your tenure, remember that corruption has no place in our government. Transparency and accountability are non-negotiable.

Fintiri sees corruption as the enemy and says, “Any form of corruption will not be tolerated, and those found guilty will be shown the way out. You must fully understand our administration’s vision and goals.”

“I urge you to thoroughly digest our 8-point agenda and be guided by it. We are determined to change the narrative of how things are done. We must embrace transparency, accountability and innovation to drive progress.”

“This has been the hallmark of our administration since coming to office. The progress we have made today is a result of sacrifices and commitment to leaving a legacy of hard work and determination to bequeath a better future for the next generation.”

“Let us work together to build a better Adamawa State, where everyone has a sense of belonging and our collective vision is achieved. Let us write a new chapter in our state’s history, one that is defined by progress, inclusively, and good governance. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we will make Adamawa State a model for excellence. Thank you and God bless you all,” he said.

“It is with profound joy that I welcome you all to the swearing of Chairmen and members of our Boards and Commissions, the Governor then extends his hearty congratulations to every one of you for making the team.

Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn-in appointees, the former Head of Service, Barr. Musa Kaibo said, they thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for appointing them as chairmen and members of agencies, thank you for the selections.

He also thanked the Governor for carefully selecting them to be part of his government to work for the people of the Adamawa state. ” I would like to commend you for the transformation programs you’ve introduced in the state since you came on board, what you have done in the state in areas of physical infrastructure, Education, Health Security etc we are proud of that.

Today Adamawa is complete. transformed under your watch we can attest to that, on behalf of my colleagues, we want to pledge our loyalty to you and your government 100% we thank you for allowing us to serve under you, thank you.
