Adamawa State Government has donated the sum of N50 million, six speedboats to the Borno State Government to support victims of the recent flooding in the state.
A statement by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri through the Chief press secretary Humwashi Wonosikau said, during a visit to Maiduguri, Fintiti presented the donation to Governor Babagana Zulum and appealed for more support for the affected communities.
Governor Fintiri and his Borno State counterpart, Governor Babagana Zulum, and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State took a boat ride to assess the situation and sympathised with the displaced persons in the state.
Adamawa state Governor was in the company of Secretary to the State Government Awwal Tukur, members of the State Executive Council, and friends.
