Adamawa State Government has invited interested communities agitating for new districts to submit their memoranda to the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Chieftaincy Affairs Department from Monday, November 11th to November 25th, 2024.
In a statement by the chief press secretary to Governor Ahmadu Umatu Fintiri, Humwashi Wonosikou, made available, said the move was informed by the need to improve governance at the grassroots level.
He said that communities desirous of new Districts are eligible and free to submit their memoranda.
