Maifata made the declaration during a strategic meeting at the National Assembly in Abuja, where he led a high-powered delegation on a courtesy visit to the Member representing Bichi Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations, Hon. The delegation comprised the Vice Chairman of Bichi Local Government, the Local Government Secretary, elected and appointed councillors, ward representatives, APC executives across the local government and ward party secretaries.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Maifata stressed the need for unity, loyalty and collective commitment among party members, saying the APC leadership in Bichi was fully prepared to mobilise support for the party at all levels.

He urged stakeholders to close ranks and intensify grassroots mobilisation to ensure overwhelming electoral success.

The council chairman also commended Abba Bichi for what he described as his impressive record of people-centred development projects across the constituency.

They also highlighted ongoing projects, including a modern conference centre, a state-of-the-art learning resource centre, a vocational skills acquisition hub and the construction of 2,000 housing units, saying the initiatives would position Bichi among Nigeria’s fastest-growing urban centres.

Responding, Abba Bichi thanked the chairman and APC stakeholders for their continued confidence and support, assuring them that his development agenda for the constituency would be sustained and expanded to improve the welfare of the people.

He reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with party leaders, elected officials and grassroots supporters to consolidate the APC’s strength ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to him, unity, effective service delivery and sustained engagement with the people will remain the foundation of the party’s continued success.
