The Coordinator of the group, Mallam Mutawab Haruna after the meeting have decided to dump and withdrew their loyalty from Binani and reverted to it’s original name, “APC Youth Development Forum Adamawa Northern Zone.
According to Haruna, the group’s primary aim has always been to promote the party’s ideals, preach unity, and canvass for development at all levels.
The group who leader expressed gratitude to APC for providing support, including agricultural empowerment equipment, cash, and skills, even when they were campaigning for Binani’s governorship bid.
Haruna however, made this clear that thier loyalty is to the party, not to any individual, including Binani.
His words, “We are here to reiterate that our loyalty is to the party, not to Binani or any individual. If she decides to leave the party, we wish her good luck, but our commitment is to the unity and progress of the APC.”
However, the mass defection has made significant set back to Binani’s political ambitions, as it is with the ongoing development, the party awaits her respond politically.
