The wife of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha Buhari, and her children have returned to their Kaduna residence, 12 days after his burial in Daura, Katsina State.
The family arrived at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna on Sunday, July 27, 2025, where they were received by the Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe; Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Munira Tanimu; and other senior government officials.
Late President Muhammadu Buhari passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 82, in a London hospital. He was buried two days later, on July 15, in his hometown of Daura, in accordance with Islamic rites.
Following the reception at the Air Force Base, the Deputy Governor led Mrs. Buhari and her entourage to their residence in Ungwan Rimi GRA, Kaduna.
Since their arrival, Nigerians across the country have continued to pour out tributes and prayers on social media, offering condolences and solidarity with the family of the late statesman.
