A lawmaker representing Yola South, Yola North, and Girei federal constituency from Adamawa State, Hon. Abubakar Babazango, has commenced the distribution of hundreds of assorted fertilisers in his constituency.
Babazango made the commencement to cushion the effects of the bad economy and to utilize it for 2024 aimed at the farming session.
The centre of distribution event took place at Jokems in Yola, Adamawa state, where hundreds of people witnessed the distribution exercise to fast-track farming sessions as fertilizer has been the major of farmers.
The distribution cut across all political parties where his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders of the constituency, witnessed the distribution and lauded him for trying to empower his constituency.
Speaking Ibrahim Baba Jimeta, one of the APC and also his aid, said the federal alwmaker is fulfilling some of his campaign promises of giving quality representation to everyone.
Jimeta said that fertilizer empowerment is one of the beginnings of other incentive programs that are on the way to support the people in the area of Education, Skills acquisitions, and business endeavours, especially women and Youths of the constituencies.
He accordingly revealed that Hon Abubakar Babazango is making befitting Laws and Bills that include motions that will directly benefit his constituency and the nation at large.
One of the beneficiaries who gave his name Mustafa Abdullahi said that since there has been a distribution of farming imputes being a first-time farmer after his investigation, it is the only early fertilizer distribution to farmers so far witnessed.
Also, Amina Abubakar said she is impressed with this year’s fertilizer distribution by Hon Babazango, which has been earlier than ever; therefore, she prayed for his wisdom in the distribution of early products.
