The Federal University of Education, Zaria is set to host the 3rd National Education, Trade, Innovation and Investment Summit (NETIIS 2026), a major national gathering organized by the Zazzau Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ZAZCCIMA).

The summit has been officially approved by the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) as one of its national flagship events.

It is scheduled to hold from Friday, 30th October to Sunday, 8th November, 2026.

The confirmation was made during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure (Makaman Rano), by a delegation from ZAZCCIMA led by Mal. Yahaya Garba (Garkuwan Madakin Zazzau).

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sulaiman Balarabe, alongside other principal members of the university management.

The 2026 edition of the summit is themed “Empowering Nigeria’s Economic Resurgence: Leveraging Renewed Hope Policies to Catalyse Transformation in Education, Trade, Innovation and Investment in Nigeria.”

The theme underscores the summit’s objective of aligning Nigeria’s education system, trade ecosystem, innovation drive, and investment climate with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda for inclusive growth and sustainable national development.
