Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has unveiled the Women Peace and Security Action Plan 2 and Youth Peace and Security Action Plan documents in Kaduna State, which he attributed to the commitment of the government towards achieving a sustainable peace-building process.

The governor who was represented by Hon. Rabi Salisu Hajia, Commissioner Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, Kaduna State, spoke on the occasion of International Day of Peace and Unveiling of the Kaduna State Women Peace and Security Action Plan (KAD-SAP WPS11) and Kaduna State Youth Peace and Security Action Plan (KAD-SAP YPS), held at the  Kaduna State University.

“Today, we are gathered to celebrate a fundamental human aspiration for peace on this International Day of Peace; we reaffirm our commitment to harmony, understanding, and cooperation in our society.

“As we strive for peace, we recognize the resilience of humanity in the face of conflict and inequality, the power of diversity and shared aspirations for a better world and the importance of empathy, compassion, and inclusive dialogue,” he said.
