Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Brigadier General Kabir Muhammad Galadanchi (Rtd), a distinguished son of Kano State and retired military officer, who passed away on Saturday following an illness.
The condolence message was conveyed by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in a statement issued to newsmen in Kano on Sunday.
Describing the late Brigadier General as a “true patriot,” Governor Yusuf said Galadanchi dedicated his life to serving Nigeria, demonstrating exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to national progress.
“The late Brigadier General Galadanchi was a distinguished and revered military officer who, throughout his career, remained devoted to the protection of our nation’s sovereignty and integrity,” the statement said.
Governor Yusuf extended the deepest condolences to the family of the deceased on behalf of the government and the people of Kano State.
He also prayed that Allah (SWT) grant the late officer eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdausi and give his family the strength to bear the loss.
