Katsina State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has disburse over N780million to 65 Communities for execution of projects.
The General Manager of the Agency, Mahammed Dikko Abduaziz while disbursing the amount said each community receive N12million.
Dikko explained that the benefited communities are selected from 34 local government and projects to executed are based on their needs
He further said the projects are to be executed through direct labour and must abide with conditions of the agency.
He said the amount disburse under KT_Care programme was aimed to develop the communities.
According to him, members of the communities were trained for judicious utilisation of the money given to them and guided for proper execution of the projects.
He said the projects to be executed are construction and renovation of schools, health centers, drilling of solar power, motorized and hand pump boreholes.
Other projects include construction of culverts and drainages, provisions of nutritional supplement and construction of nutritional centers.
Dikko said the agency will closely monitor spending of the amount and execution of the projects.
