Yusuf Jargafa of Radio Deutsche Welle has emerged as chairman of the Katsina Correspondence Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ).
Barr. Murtala Funtuasworn in the new members; other officials elected are Tijjani Ibrahim of DailyTrust as Vice Chairman, and Zahradeen Umar as Treasurer and Zubairu Idris as Secretary.
Among them are Bamalli Abbas Financial Secretary and Mohammed Tanks Auditor.
ln his post-speech election, Jargaba promised to carry all members without victimization.
He called on unity among members to avoid gossiping.
He also commended of electoral committee for organising a peaceful election.
