The leadership of Kainuwa Youth Association Development of Gama area has distanced itself from the recent visit to the House of Representatives aspirant for Nassarawa Federal Constituency, Hon. Mustafa Alkassim (Danhajiya), stating that the visit was neither authorized nor endorsed by the association.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the association said the individuals who carried out the visit acted without the knowledge or approval of its leadership and therefore did not represent the association or its official position.
The statement further clarified that the individuals seen in the photographs circulating on social media are not genuine members of Kainuwa Youth Association Gama and have no mandate to represent or speak on behalf of the association.
According to the association, the unauthorized use of its name amounts to a breach of trust and a violation of its constitution and leadership structure.
It stressed that no individual or group has the authority to speak or act on behalf of the association without the approval of its duly constituted leadership.
The association therefore urged the public, political stakeholders, and the media to disregard any claim suggesting that it organized, endorsed, or participated in the visit.
It reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, unity, and due process in all its activities and warned against the unauthorized use of its name for political or personal purposes.
