Members of the Kwangwami Farmers Association in Kaita Local Government Area have commended the Katsina ACReSAL Project for providing agricultural support aimed at improving farmers’ productivity and livelihoods.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Katsina ACReSAL office, the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Muhammad Nura, thanked the project management for extending the intervention to farmers in the area.

He said the support would significantly boost agricultural activities and enhance food production in the community.

Also speaking, Dr. Bishir Abdulkadir of Kwangwami community praised Katsina ACReSAL for its continued assistance to farmers.

He specifically appreciated Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for facilitating the successful implementation of the ACReSAL project in Katsina State, describing the intervention as timely and highly beneficial, particularly for rural communities.

One of the beneficiaries, Abdulhamid Akilu, disclosed that the support was distributed free of charge, stressing that no beneficiary was asked to pay any money before receiving the items.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and the Katsina ACReSAL Project for ensuring a transparent and fair distribution process.

Similarly, another beneficiary, Hashim Abdullahi, expressed satisfaction with the smooth distribution exercise, noting that all beneficiaries received the support without making any payment.

He also thanked the governor for prioritising the welfare of farmers through the project’s agricultural interventions.

Responding, the Katsina ACReSAL Project Coordinator, Alhaji Nafiu Muhammed Musa, appreciated the association for the courtesy visit and reaffirmed the project’s commitment to supporting farmers across the state.

He assured the delegation that Katsina ACReSAL would continue implementing interventions aimed at improving agricultural productivity, strengthening climate resilience, and enhancing the livelihoods of farming communities throughout Katsina State.
