The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State and Chairman of the APC North-West Zonal Forum, Hon. Umar Haruna Doguwa, on Saturday continued his statewide consultation tour with a visit to Bichi Local Government Area, where he expressed appreciation to party leaders and members for their loyalty and commitment to the APC.

The visit was part of the chairman’s ongoing tour of all 44 local government areas in Kano State, aimed at strengthening party unity, engaging stakeholders, and appreciating members for their contributions during the party’s primary elections, which produced candidates for the State House of Assembly, National Assembly, governorship, and presidential elections.

Addressing party faithful, Doguwa said the tour provides an opportunity to engage directly with party executives, elected officials, elders, women and youth groups, as well as other stakeholders, while receiving firsthand feedback on issues affecting the party and discussing strategies to consolidate the APC ahead of future political activities.

He commended APC members in Bichi for their steadfast support, discipline, and unity, noting that their commitment has continued to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure.

He assured them that the party leadership remains committed to inclusiveness, regular consultations, and rewarding loyalty and dedication.

The APC chairman and his delegation were warmly received by party leaders, supporters, and elected officials, including the Executive Chairman of Bichi Local Government, Hon. Hamza Sule Mai Fata, alongside the 11 elected ward councillors.
In his remarks, Mai Fata thanked Doguwa for visiting Bichi, describing the visit as a demonstration of responsible and inclusive leadership.

He said the chairman’s decision to personally appreciate party members would further strengthen unity and boost the morale of APC supporters across the local government.

The council chairman reaffirmed the unwavering loyalty of APC members in Bichi to the party and pledged their continued support for its leadership and programmes.

He also assured Doguwa that the people of Bichi would remain committed to protecting the party’s achievements and working tirelessly for its continued success.
