Yobe State governorship aspirant, Kashim Musa Tumsah has disbursed millions of naira in financial support to various support groups across the state, in a move aimed at boosting entrepreneurship, encouraging self-reliance and improving livelihoods.

The empowerment initiative took place during Tumsah’s ongoing statewide tour, where he has continued to interact closely with residents engage community stakeholders and assess the needs of the people firsthand.

According to reports, the funds were distributed to several groups, particularly youth-based associations to help strengthen small businesses, create sustainable sources of income and expand economic opportunities at the grassroots level.

Tumsah, widely regarded as a compassionate and forward-looking leader, has built a reputation for championing initiatives that uplift vulnerable communities not only in Yobe State but across the country.

Speaking on the intervention, the governorship hopeful said the programme reflects his commitment to tackling poverty, creating jobs, and empowering young people to become economically independent.

Political observers say the latest gesture has further boosted his popularity among supporters and deepened public confidence in his vision for inclusive growth and people-driven development in Yobe State.
