Katsina state government said the 2025 proposed budget will contain inputs from various communities.
The state Commissioner of Budget and Economic Affairs, Bello Usaini Kagara, said at the 2025 Pre-budget defence by ministries that submission by the communities will implemented by the ministries.
Kagara explained that the era for government ministries and departments to prepare the budget based on their submission is gone.
He said recently, Governor Dikko Umar Radda conducted the citizen budget and public engagement to generate submissions from various communities in preparing the 2025 budget.
He said he will ensure that such submissions are implemented in response to the needs of communities.
He directed ministries and departments to abide by the new trend.
He said the government will ensure the completion of all ongoing projects in 2025 to avoid abandoning projects inherited from the previous administration.
He called on them to intensify the generation of internal revenue for the execution of more projects.
He said the allocation of funds to ministries in the 2025 budget will depend on the performance in revenue generation.Compose Message
