The Kebbi State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, reconciliation and collective responsibility among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The State Special Adviser on Political Matters and Power, Alhaji Kabir Sani-Giant, stated this during a meeting with members of the APC State Executive Committee at the party’s secretariat in Birnin Kebbi.
Sani-Giant described unity as the foundation of the party’s continued success and urged members to strengthen their commitment to peace, mutual respect and cooperation at all levels.
He appealed to party members who were unsuccessful in previous primary elections to accept the outcomes in good faith, trust in the will of Almighty Allah and put aside their grievances in the overall interest of the party and Kebbi State.
According to him, sustainable political success can only be achieved through forgiveness, reconciliation and a shared commitment to the ideals and objectives of the APC.
The Special Adviser commended the Acting State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Adamu Mudi Augie, and members of the State Executive Committee for their dedication, leadership and efforts toward maintaining cohesion within the party.
He also prayed for the continued success of the APC in future elections.
Responding, the Acting State Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mudi Augie, thanked the Special Adviser for the visit and his words of encouragement.
He reaffirmed the unity of the party and expressed confidence that the APC would record another resounding victory in the 2027 General Elections, by the grace of Almighty Allah.
Augie also conveyed the appreciation of the party leadership to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for his continued support and commitment to strengthening the APC across the state.
He disclosed that the party leadership had successfully concluded a statewide tour of all 21 Local Government Areas of the state.
According to him, the exercise was aimed at consolidating party unity, strengthening grassroots engagement and further reinforcing the stability of the APC across Kebbi.
The Kebbi State APC-led administration, he added, remains committed to promoting political harmony, inclusive governance and sustainable development in the interest of the people.
