The Special Assistant on Livestock and Ranching to the Cross River State Governor, Alhaji Nasiru Baba Gombe, has urged Cross Riverians and residents to continue to uphold unity, peace, and mutual respect for one another regardless of tribe and ethnicity.
Alhaji Gombe made the appeal in an interview with our reporter in Calabar.
He said: “Let us continue to uphold unity, peace, and mutual respect as we work together for a better society.”
Alhaji Nasiru Gombe, who also serves as the Director-General of the Cross River State Hausa-Fulani and Muslim Support Group for Ahmed Tinubu and Prince Bassey Otu, prayed for peace and stability in the state and Nigeria.
He said: “I pray to Almighty God to bring peace, blessings, good health, and success to all members, our families, Cross River State, and Nigeria.
“May Allah continue to strengthen our leaders and grant them wisdom to serve the people with commitment and fairness.”
He further called on citizens to continue to uphold unity, peace, and mutual respect as they work together for progress in the state.
