The National Secretary of the Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria, Mr. Jude Denis, has commended the association for its significant contributions to society, particularly in the area of job creation and economic development.
Mr. Denis made the statement two days ago during the celebration of Kano Bakers Day, organised by Crown Flour Mill Company Limited in Kano.
He explained that the association plays a vital role in national development, noting that it employs a large number of youths across the country, more than many other professional bodies.
“Our association contributes immensely to the community, especially through employment generation.
“We engage more youths than many other associations, and this remains a major contribution to the nation’s economy,” he said.
Mr. Denis also praised Crown Flour Mill for its continuous support to the baking industry, describing the company’s interventions as impactful and encouraging.
He particularly appreciated the donation of a new bus to the Kano State branch of the association, noting that such gestures strengthen the relationship between the company and bakers.
He further acknowledged the presence and support of key dealers who attended the event, especially Umar Buba Enterprises and Hamir Investment, both from Singer Market, Kano, describing them as vital partners in the industry.
The event also featured a display of loaves of bread produced by different baking companies, showcasing the quality and diversity within the baking sector in Kano State.
