The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested four suspected Shilla boys terrorizing the people of the Jambutu area of Yola North local government area of the state.
The arrest by the Police is to create an enabling environment and maintain peace and security across the State.
In a statement, the Command spokesman, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, said the suspects, identified as Sadiq Usman, 20 years, Abba Ibrahim, 18 years, Abdul Jibrin, 20 years, and Labaran Muhammed, 20 years, were arrested at Geriyo Junaction, around 2 am.
Nguroje, while revealing, further said that in their possession, they were found with dangerous weapons, which included a dagger and a knife, and they were also caught smoking suspected Indian hemp.
Their arrests were a result of several complaints of robbery and theft from communities in the area.
The suspects are currently in police custody for further investigations and more recoveries
