The Kano State Refuse Management and Sanitation Board (REMASAB), under the leadership of its Managing Director, Dr. Muhammad S. Khalil, has recruited 10 graduates as part of efforts to strengthen and improve the agency’s transportation operations.
This was contained in a statement issued to journalists by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Ahmad.
According to the statement, the newly recruited personnel successfully completed professional training at the Transport Training School located along Zaria Road, where they acquired practical knowledge and hands-on experience in transport management and operational services.
The development, the statement noted, reflects the commitment of the agency’s leadership to promoting efficiency, professionalism and improved service delivery within the state’s environmental sanitation and waste transportation system.
Following the successful completion of the recruitment process, the beneficiaries were officially presented with their letters of appointment.
Speaking on the initiative, the Managing Director reaffirmed the agency’s determination to continue building a competent workforce capable of supporting the government’s vision for a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable environment across Kano State.
Dr. Khalil also appealed to residents of the state to continue supporting the agency’s environmental sanitation initiatives through cooperation and adherence to proper waste disposal practices.
