Alhaji Yunusa Kuki, a respected retired civil servant, has passed away at the age of 73.
During his lifetime, he served diligently with the Sokoto State Government and the Katsina State Ministry of Works, where he earned a reputation for dedication, integrity, and commitment to public service.
He is survived by his wife and 13 children. Among them are Hajiya (Barr.) Sa’adatu Yunusa Kuki, Special Adviser to the Sokoto State Governor; Hajiya Zainab Yunusa Kuki; and Aminu Yunusa Kuki, a businessman based in Abuja.
He is also survived by his brother, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki.
In a condolence message, the Katsina State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Bishir Tanimu Gambo, described the late Kuki as an honest and upright man who built strong bonds across family, friends, and the wider community.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki expressed deep appreciation to the commissioner and all sympathisers for their prayers, support, and solidarity during this difficult period.
Also extending condolences was the Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Abdu Bawa Dutsin-Ma, who spoke on behalf of the member representing Dutsin-Ma and Kurfi Federal Constituency, Alhaji Aminu Balele Dan Arewa.
The late Alhaji Yunusa Kuki will be remembered for his humility, service, and enduring legacy within his community.
