No fewer than 10 youths in Bichi have received cash donations from a Senior Legislative Aide to the National Assembly as part of efforts to support their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
The beneficiaries received the financial assistance from the Senior Legislative Aide, Engr. Abubakar Kabiru Abubakar, to enable them to expand their businesses and become more self-reliant.
In a statement issued to our reporter, Alhaji Salihu Umar Ahmed said the initiative was aimed at supporting young people in Bichi to sustain themselves and strengthen their businesses.
“The Special Legislative Aide, Zaharadeen Kabir, has provided cash donations to 10 youths to support themselves and their businesses,” the statement said.
According to the statement, the donations were presented to the beneficiaries by the Personal Assistant, Nuhu Abdullahi Ado, on behalf of the Senior Legislative Aide.
The statement added that the financial support would help the beneficiaries expand their businesses and improve their economic independence.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the Senior Legislative Aide for the gesture and prayed for his success in all his endeavours.
The beneficiaries, who received the donations with smiles, described the support as timely and valuable to their businesses and livelihoods.
