Humanitarian activities associated with Nigerian digital creator Sulaiman Mustapha Adam, popularly known as Sir Captain, have expanded across several areas of community support, including food assistance, clean water, education and emergency relief.

Food assistance remains one of the most visible components of the humanitarian programmes.

The initiatives have included Ramadan feeding programmes, Ramadan food packages, Dhul Hijjah feeding initiatives and meat distribution, providing assistance to individuals and families during different periods of need.

However, the scope of the humanitarian work extends beyond food distribution.
Clean-water access has become another major area of intervention.

According to figures provided by Sir Captain’s team, approximately 30 boreholes have been constructed through the humanitarian initiatives in communities where access to reliable water remains a challenge.

Education is also an important component of the programmes.

According to figures provided by the team, approximately 500 children have received support through education-related initiatives aimed at assisting children from underserved communities.

The humanitarian activities have also responded to emergency situations.

During the Maiduguri flood crisis, Sir Captain and his team travelled to affected communities to provide emergency assistance, including food, financial support, mosquito nets, mats and other essential materials.

The work has also extended to community infrastructure, with two mosque construction projects undertaken in Katsina and Kano states.

These activities are organised in part through the Al-Infaq Khair Foundation, where Sir Captain serves as Founder, Chairman and Trustee.

The foundation focuses on food assistance, clean water, educational support, empowerment, emergency assistance and community development.

According to figures provided by his team, approximately 500,000 people have been reached through different humanitarian initiatives.

The breadth of the programmes reflects a combination of immediate and longer-term forms of assistance.

While food distributions and emergency interventions respond to urgent needs, projects involving water, education and community infrastructure seek to address challenges that affect communities over a longer period.

Through the foundation and related humanitarian activities, Sir Captain’s work has developed into a broader platform supporting vulnerable individuals and communities across different areas of need.

The programmes continue to combine direct assistance with community-focused interventions, with food security, water access, education and emergency support remaining among the central areas of the humanitarian work.
