Sokoto State Government has presented vehicles to the leaders of the APC party in the 23 local government areas of the state.
Gov Ahmad Aliyu presented the Toyota Saloon vehicles brand to each of the party chairmen of the 23 local governments in the state on Saturday.
Aliyu was represented by the state APC Chairman, Hon. Isah Sadiq Achida (Turakin Achida), on Saturday at the APC state headquarters in Sokoto.
The governor charged the beneficiaries to make the best use of the vehicles and ensure their maintenance.
This is coming ahead of the local government council elections scheduled to be held on September 21 across the 23 local government areas of the state.
The gesture is part of the governor’s efforts to support the party and its members, as he has also started providing monthly financial support to state, local government, and ward party leaders to help them work effectively and comfortably.
Some of the party Chairmen expressed gratitude to God, saying the gesture was part of the state governor’s efforts to support the party and its members.
They also offered prayers for protecting and guiding the governor.
