The Organising Committee of the Gombe Emir’s Cup Competition has invited stakeholders and football enthusiasts to the draws ceremony of the 2026 Gombe Emir’s Cup Competition.
In a press statement made available to journalists and signed by the organising committee, the organisers said the event forms part of efforts aimed at promoting unity, youth engagement, sportsmanship, peaceful coexistence, and talent development among Emirates and Traditional Councils across Gombe State.
According to the statement, the draws ceremony is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the ICT NITDA Park, Gombe State University, Gombe, by 10:00 a.m.
Stakeholders and invited guests were advised to be seated early ahead of the commencement of the event.
The committee noted that the Gombe Emir’s Cup has continued to serve as a unifying football tournament that brings communities together through the spirit of sportsmanship and mutual harmony.
“All participating teams, supporters, dignitaries, stakeholders, members of the media, and the general public are warmly invited to witness this historic occasion as we officially set the stage for another exciting edition of the competition,” the statement added.
The organisers further stated that the presence of stakeholders and guests would contribute immensely to the success of the event.
