In humanitarian support, General T Y Danjuma rtd. has donated N1 billion to the Borno state government over the recent flood disaster that ravaged Maiduguri city.
The donation is a remarkable act of philanthropy to aid the victims of the devastating floods in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The flood had displaced thousands of residents and caused severe damage to homes and infrastructure, leaving many in urgent need of assistance.
The Army General who’s known for his generous contributions to humanitarian causes, expressed deep concern for the victims and emphasized the importance of supporting communities during such crises.
“What took place in Maiduguri, the capital of Born state, I want to express my deep concern and heartfelt to the victims and emphasize the importance of supporting communities when the need arises,” he said.
“This donation, I expect to help provide emergency relief, including shelter, food, and medical assistance to those affected victims.”
Gen. Danjuma’s gesture is yet another example of his commitment to alleviating human suffering and fostering community support across Nigeria.
