“We will continue to support our youths and sporting activities, particularly in identifying talented footballers and creating opportunities for them to develop their skills,” he said.
The lawmaker also expressed appreciation to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for his support and for providing opportunities for lawmakers to undertake programmes aimed at community development and youth empowerment.
“I appreciate the support of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and his commitment to programmes that promote community development and empower our young people,” Sule said.
He urged the participating teams to abide by the rules of the game, respect match officials and one another, and use the tournament to strengthen peace and unity across the 10 wards.
The opening ceremony attracted youths and stakeholders from various wards of the local government.
