President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a security council meeting at the state house.
The meeting was also attended by Vice-President, Sen. Kashim Shettima, and came after a broadcast by the president apparently to appraise the state of the nation.
The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) reports that the yardstick behind the meeting is yet to be announced.
Some sections of Nigerians have taken to the streets since August 1, protesting across the country.
