The Kano State Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has inaugurated a public enlightenment platform known as the Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf Projects Promotion Advocates for Kwankwasiyya TikTok.
The initiative aims to showcase the achievements of the Kano State Government while fostering unity within the Kwankwasiyya TikTok community.
Speaking at the event, Comrade Waiya described the initiative as a groundbreaking effort to utilize social media in promoting the developmental strides of Governor Yusuf’s administration.
“This platform is designed to create awareness about ongoing projects across various sectors and to encourage collaboration within the digital community to amplify their impact,” Waiya stated. He emphasized the importance of the initiative in preserving and advancing the legacy of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, ensuring that his achievements are celebrated both locally and globally.
“Governor Yusuf has made numerous positive contributions to the development of Kano State, and it is our collective responsibility to highlight and publicize these accomplishments,” Waiya added.
The newly elected Chairman of the group, Shamsuddeen Abdullahi Sani, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead the initiative. In his acceptance speech, he pledged to work closely with members to enhance public awareness of the state’s achievements.
“I am honored to serve in this capacity and will dedicate myself to enlightening our community about the positive developments in Kano State,” Sani said.
He also praised the Commissioner for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the progress of Kano State.
The inauguration marks a significant milestone in bridging the gap between the government and the digital community, ensuring that the state’s achievements reach a wider audience.
