From Muawuya Bala Idris, Katsina

The Chairman of the Dikko K-34 Grassroots Outreach and Mobilisation, a political support group in Katsina State, Hon. Usman Umar Yaba, has said the people of the state would make a grave mistake if they failed to re-elect Governor Dikko Umaru Radda for a second term.

Yaba stated this while speaking to journalists shortly after Governor Radda commissioned the group’s office in Katsina State.

He described Radda as a blessing to the state, warning that failing to return him to office would be a major setback for Katsina’s development.

According to him, no opposition candidate in the governorship race could match Radda’s leadership qualities.

Yaba described the governor’s three-and-a-half years in office as a transformational journey for the state, insisting that he deserved re-election to ensure continuity and further development.

He disclosed that the group would embark on a door-to-door campaign to engage residents and canvass support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“We will intensify mobilisation and reach out to people to secure victory for the APC in the forthcoming election,” Yaba said.

He commended the APC-led government in Katsina State for what he described as achievements in healthcare, education, agriculture, water supply, road construction and economic development.

Earlier, Governor Radda expressed appreciation to members of the group for supporting his re-election bid.

The governor also commended the group for bringing together experienced stakeholders, including former local government chairmen and members of the state and National Assemblies, to support the APC.

He expressed confidence in the group’s capacity to contribute to the party’s electoral efforts and prayed for the victory of all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

In his remarks, the group’s Grand Patron, Dahiru Mangal, represented by the Chief of Staff at Government House, Abdulkadir Nasir, urged the government to support the group in strengthening grassroots mobilisation and community engagement.
