…To resettle alabout 10 communities in Borno

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State, has commissioned about 500 houses in Nguro-Soye, Bama Local Government Area, to resettle 10 communities displaced by the decade-long insurgency in the state.
The particular resettlement scheme, which benefits over 1,100 households, includes public facilities like healthcare centres, schools, water facilities, and other basic amenities respectively.
During the commissioning, Zulum, reaffirmed his commitment to rebuilding Borno and closing all IDP camps by 2026 insha Allah.
The Governor noted that, the ongoing reconstruction projects in Bama, including the rebuilding of Bama township, Banki, Nguro Soye, and Mallam Chelumri, as well as efforts in Tarmua Town, Kumshe, Mayanti, and Bula Yobe aim to resettle IDPs and rebuild a stronger Borno within a short time by the will of Almighty Allah.
