Director General, Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has inaugurated a Security Committee to coordinate security agencies for the protection of the lives and properties of intending pilgrims.
Alhaji Rabi’u added that the board is ready to provide all necessary equipment for the protection of the pilgrims.
He extended his wishes for God’s protection and success in the discharge of their duties.
On his part, the leader of the Security Committee, ASP Bara’u Garba, promised to do everything possible to assist the Board beyond security measures.
ASP Garba added that the committee includes representatives from all national security agencies.
He thanked the board for the opportunity given to them, according to a press release issued by Sulaiman A Dederi, the spokesman of the board.
