The Khalifa of late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru Bauchi has said that supporting human kinds is very significant in Islamic religion.
Sheikh Bauchi who disclosed recently at this year’s Tafsir Closing in Kaduna, said the act was a great ibadat on the sight of the Ummah.
He mentioned that supporting the human kinds, especially the Muslim Ummah, was very important in view of their position on the sight of Allah.
The Khalifa, who gave a translation of the some portions of the Qur’an, with reference to Suratul Kahfi and Suratul Da’ha, was assisted in its recitation by Sayyadi Aliyu Dahiru Bauchi, his brother.
He urged the Ummah to render support to other creatures, to include animals, as directed by Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, who instructed his companions to intensify their efforts in this regard.
The Khalifa called on the government to take all measures that would help ameliorate the suffering of the Ummah.
He called on the officials of the government at all levels to discharge their duties effectively and diligently so as to restore the confidence of the masses in them.
He urged the Ummah to intensify efforts in performing their prayers so as to overcome the predicaments militating against the country.
Sheikh Bauchi further mentioned the significance of the Glorious Qur’an and how it affects the Ummah in all patterns of their lives, saying it was a complete way of life.
He warned hypocrites against shading the religion of Allah in bad light, stressing the need for the Ummah to repent against their sins.
He gave example of how Prophet Adam repented to Allah after his mistake, calling on Ummah to remain united with all other religious sects and asquint themselves with the teaching of Islam.
Also at Kano Road, a similar event happened.
Dr. Bashir Dahiru Bauchi translated the some portions of the Glorious Qur’an.
While translating Suratul Isra’iI and Suratul Maryam, which were recited by Malam Mahmud and Sayyadi Abal Abas, Dr. Bauchi used the occasion to call on Federal Government to revisit the recent abandoned contract of constructing sea from Baro to Lokoja.
He said doing so would go along way to improving the socio-economic life of the dwellers of Northern part of the country and also providing employment in the nation.
Dr. Bauchi further, in the translation of the verses, gave brief history of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, saying that his miracle and its teaching were worth mentioning.
He implored the Ummah to accord such practices the highest regard, explaining that the lives of other Prophets of Allah, including Prophets Dawud, Zakariya, Sulaiman and as well as Maryam, the mother of Prophet Isah, on her miracle on the birth of the holy prophet Isah, are worth emulating.
He tasked the Ummah to always fear Allah so as to earn His blessing.
Such Tafsir also took place at Zawiya Sani Malami, by Sheikh Halliru Dan Maraya, who called on the Ummah not to relent in their effort on supporting Muslims.
In his response, Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Abdulkadir Yahaya, explained some of the strategies they employed in the state leading to the command recording some successes in averting crimes in the state.
He said the were able to tackle the menace of illegal acts, like drug abuse, phone snatching as well as killing of people.
He added that such policies brought stakeholders together, including other security agencies in the state.
Among those who spoke at the occasion, included Sheikh Surunbai Dahiru Bauchi, who used it to hail all those who contributed to the success of the Tafsir.
Also, the chairman of the Tafsir committee at Tudun Wada Juma’at Mosque, Alhaji Abdullahi; the coordinator of the Tafsir, Malan Sufyanu; Kano Road Mosque, Ibrahim Alpha Dan Koli, the chairman of Tafsir Kano Road Mosque; the coordinator, Abdullahi Zakari Kwara and Mustapha Umar, all expressed delight with the event.
