A new political association, Tinubu/Dikko Guaranteed Association (TDA), has been inaugurated in Katsina State with the aim of mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umar Radda in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during the unveiling of the association at a news briefing in Katsina, the State Coordinator of TDA, Faisal Jafaru Rafindadi, said the group had adopted a 10-point action plan designed to achieve its objectives.
According to Rafindadi, the strategies include organising town hall meetings and conducting door-to-door sensitisation campaigns to highlight the achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Radda.
He added that the association would deploy trained ambassadors at the ward level to engage community and religious leaders in support of its mission.
Rafindadi further explained that TDA plans to leverage radio, television, and social media platforms to counter misinformation and promote the developmental achievements of the two leaders.
“We will establish unit clusters to register, educate and mobilise voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
“We will also organise workshops and rallies focusing on youth empowerment and women-led development initiatives,” he said.
The coordinator noted that part of the association’s mandate includes the distribution of branded materials such as posters, leaflets, and uniforms to enhance the visibility of the Tinubu/Dikko campaign project.
To ensure effective implementation of its programmes, Rafindadi said TDA has established operational structures comprising a State Steering Committee, Local Government Coordinators, Ward Coordinators, and Polling Unit Coordinators.
He explained that all appointees would serve as official ambassadors of the association and would be responsible for advancing its re-election agenda within their respective jurisdictions.
Rafindadi commended Governor Radda’s administration, saying it had recorded significant achievements across several sectors and positively impacted the living standards of residents.
Among the achievements he listed were the establishment of the Katsina Community Watch Corps to address insecurity, construction of dams and irrigation infrastructure, support for farmers, upgrading of healthcare facilities, construction and rehabilitation of roads, distribution of tricycles to youths, and the provision of N1 billion support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
He expressed confidence that these accomplishments would strengthen public support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Radda in 2027.
