The years of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State have been described as a blessing to the people of the state.
This was stated by the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, in a press release issued by the Public Relations Unit of the Ministry of Health and shared with the press.
Dr. Labaran made the remarks enthusiastically in celebration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s 62nd birthday.
He commended the governor for the gradual transformation of Kano into a mega city, with particular emphasis on improving the healthcare system. According to Dr. Labaran, this transformation reflects the governor’s focus and compassion, demonstrating that the people of Kano are fortunate to have such a dedicated leader.
The Commissioner recalled the governor’s significant contributions during his tenure as the Commissioner of Works under the administration of Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso. During that period, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf’s ministry executed numerous projects that reshaped Kano’s infrastructure.
Dr. Labaran emphasized that since the inception of the current administration, Governor Yusuf has remained undeterred by challenges, both internal and external, in implementing his visionary blueprint for purposeful leadership.
“Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has provided sterling leadership that has transformed the political landscape of the state. His governance style, marked by empathy, hard work, and kindness, has earned him the love and acceptance of the majority.
“The governor dedicates his 24 hours to serving the people. Day and night, he supervises projects, hospitals, and other initiatives personally to ensure progress. Indeed, the years of Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf have been beneficial to all of us,” he added:
Dr. Labaran congratulated the people of Kano for having a visionary, dedicated, and compassionate leader who works tirelessly to transform the state and improve their socioeconomic well-being. He urged the public to continue supporting the governor’s people-oriented policies to move Kano forward.
In conclusion, Dr. Labaran prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and protection for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, enabling him to provide meaningful and cherished leadership for the benefit of all.
