The Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA) has been commended for working tirelessly to qualify for this year’s Saudi Arabian award for excellence in discipline and proper arrangements of the 2024 Hajj exercise in Nigeria.
The commendation was made by Secretary APC Elders Forum Ga won Kifi, Gwiwa area in Wamakko local government areas, Malam Lawal Garba Alkanci in a statement.
Malam Alkanci, a retired journalist, described the chairman of PWA, Alhaji Aliyu Musa Gusau, as a committed, hardworking and disciplined person who always works hand towards achieving the desired objectives.
The APC Secretary called on the people of Sokoto State to support and pray for the success of the government of Dr Aliyu Ahmad towards achieving the desired goal of executing more developmental projects that have a direct bearing on the people of the state.
