Member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Doguwa and Tudun Wada to unite and put aside their differences ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Doguwa made the appeal in a press statement issued on Wednesday, stressing the need for party members to close ranks and work collectively towards ensuring the victory of the APC at all levels.

According to him, the time has come for all loyal members of the party to stand firm in protecting the interests of the APC and strengthening its structure from the grassroots to the national level.

The lawmaker stated that he no longer sees any member of the party as an outsider, noting that everyone belongs to the same political family and deserves equal recognition and cooperation.

He expressed readiness to work with all factions and stakeholders within the party in the interest of unity and political progress.

Doguwa also commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for what he described as his generosity and support towards party members, assuring that loyalists of the party would continue to stand by the administration.

He further urged both old and new members of the APC, including those who recently joined the party alongside the Kano State governor, to exercise patience and strengthen internal harmony for the overall success of the party.

The federal lawmaker equally appealed to politicians who left the APC over political disagreements to return and join hands with other members in rebuilding and repositioning the party in Kano State and across the country.

Speaking on national politics, Doguwa called on Northern Nigerians to support the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.

He argued that allowing Tinubu to complete two terms of eight years would promote fairness, justice, and political balance between Northern and Southern Nigeria, recalling the support given to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari during his administration.

Doguwa maintained that unity among APC members remains the party’s strongest weapon for success in future elections.
