Calabar Rovers FC of Cross River State have been eliminated from this year’s State Federation Cup following a 1–0 defeat to E-World FC of Calabar in the semi-final match played yesterday at the main bowl of the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
The closely contested encounter saw E-World FC securing a lone-goal victory to book their place in the final of the competition.
In the second semi-final match played earlier, Mojoda FC of Calabar also progressed to the final after defeating Liberty Lions of Calabar by a solitary goal.
Meanwhile, E-World FC will face Mojoda FC in the final of the State Federation Cup.
The decisive encounter is scheduled to take place at the main bowl of the U.J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Both finalists are expected to represent Cross River State in the National Preliminary stage of the Federation Cup tournament, which is scheduled to commence next month.
